Solomon Islands' first cohort of early childhood education program participants recently completed their training from the Australia-Pacific Technical College (APTC) in Solomon Islands. The 16 kindergarten teachers commenced studying towards an Australian Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care in July 2014.

Jimmy Lume a graduate of the Australia-Pacific Technical College (APTC) enjoys working with communities in Lenatuan village on Tanna Island located at the southern end of the Vanuatu archipelago, to help improve their lives and raise standards of living.

Earlier this month, the Australia-Pacific Technical College (APTC) welcomed its new cohort of program participants for 2015. Over 970 new enrolments have commenced study in APTC programs in its five campuses - Fiji, Samoa, Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands.
