An exciting opportunity had been encountered by the APTC Vanuatu Certificate IV Youth Work students and their teacher Annie Dares, who participated in a three day workshop hosted by one of the South Pacific leading youth services, Wan Smol Bag . An exciting Pacific wide program of Won Smol Bag is the renowned TV series Love Patrol.

Twenty-six students graduated in a ceremony at the Australia-Pacific Technical College (APTC) campus at Port Moresby Technical College on Monday, 10 December 2012. The guest of honour was Ms Margaret Adamson, Australian Deputy High Commissioner to Papua New Guinea.

A large university building site in Queensland was one of the projects visited by APTC carpentry teachers from Suva on a professional development trip.
