The Australia Pacific Training Coalition (APTC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Kasanita Momota Holani as the new Country Engagement and Liaison Coordinator for Tonga.​

The Australia Pacific Training Coalition (APTC) has recently appointed Kiatoa Iaoniman as the Country Engagement and Liaison Coordinator for Kiribati.​

“I chose a career in carpentry because I love what I do,” says Iaotite Monite, a carpentry trainer at the Kiribati Institute of Technology (KIT) and an alumna of the Australia Pacific Training Coalition (APTC).

It was a momentous occasion for APTC as it welcomed its 15,000th graduate during the Tonga Graduation Ceremony in Nuku’alofa on Wednesday 30 October, 2019.

Solomon Islands students studying in Fiji have commended the quality of education received through APTC, saying it has enriched them with a deeper understanding and perspective of individual support.

The Australia Pacific Training Coalition (APTC) recently collaborated with vocational centres in Savai’i, Samoa, to provide learning resources and tools for quality technical and vocational education and training (TVET) delivery.

“As you walk out of this room, you will have an internationally recognised qualification in your hand certifying your skills. Guard it well and use it. The Republic of Nauru needs you and your skills to build a sustainable workforce and contribute to addressing the country’s needs.”

Sixty-nine i-Kiribati nationals graduated from the Australia Pacific Training Coalition (APTC) with internationally recognised qualifications in Construction, Plumbing, Hospitality and Tourism, at a graduation ceremony hosted by Kiribati Institute of Technology (KIT) at Tenimanraoi Maneaba, Takoronga, on Wednesday 9 October 2019.​

“You all are role models and I encourage you to inspire other women to pursue further training and studies.”​ This was the key message delivered by the then Deputy Prime Minister of Solomon Islands, Honourable John Maneniaru, at the Australia Pacific Training Coalition (APTC) graduation ceremony in Honiara on Wednesday 25 September, 2019.

“The achievements of the Vanuatu Skills Partnership and the Australia Pacific Training Coalition are commendable, bringing transformative change to communities across Vanuatu.” Australia Pacific Training Coalition (APTC) CEO, Soli Middleby, made the comment during the signing of a partnership agreement between the Australian-funded Vanuatu Skills Partnership and Australian-funded APTC to strengthen Vanuatu’s national technical and vocational education and training (TVET) and support inclusive skills pathways.

“Today’s tourism industry calls for greater customer service and communication skills for the Pacific Islands to be a preferred destination of choice,” says Evelyn Maseng, Tourism Trainer for the Australia Pacific Training Coalition (APTC), and Vanuatu representative for the 2019 Pacific Islands Tourism Professional Fellow Program hosted by the East-West Center in Honolulu, Hawai’i in the United States.

The Australia Pacific Training Coalition (APTC) delivered an intensive International Skills Training (IST) in Nauru last month. IST is an internationally accredited program aimed at training and assessing adult learners in technical and vocational education and training (TVET) in their respective industry areas.​
